Our Purpose
Alberta Safeguards Foundation is comprised of individuals whose collective concern is the life conditions of marginalized and vulnerable people in our society. We work together to respond to these common concerns in two main ways.
Through organizing and/or conducting workshops that raise consciousness about the personal, social and systemic issues that face marginalized and vulnerable persons and groups.
By supporting each other and collaborating with other groups to take action in response to our common concerns and goals.

To raise consciousness about personal and social devaluation and to support thoughtful and effective responses to it.
A society where people personally and collectively stand in contradiction to devaluation by welcoming people’s unique contributions and by acknowledging everyone’s inherent value.
